July favourites and fashion finds ~

Sooooo July is over and I've got some lovely favourites to share with you guys :D

Will have a national day post thing up on National Day :))

And without further ado here's what I've been loving ;)

Fashion
Okay so for fashion wise I haven't gotten much new stuff? I think I'll do a post soon on how I can get new stuff whilst not getting super broke cos I do think it can help some people :)

1. Raised by Mermaids top by Pull and Bear, Size S, $25.90

Okay so I can't find this top online for some reason so I just took a random photo of it at home. But I wore this to a concert and for a gathering and it's super comfy! It's quite see through tho so that's a little awkward I guess. Still gotta figure out how to not look weird when something is THAT sheer haha. But the back just has this really nice text which I think is a nice twist. Typography-ish fashion has been so in lately, and literally it's almost always printed on the front and I feel like this is an interesting take on it? Like wearing a shirt on the wrong side when you're not :P

2. American Apparel Lulu Grid Skirt in Black (white grid), Size S, $32 (Carousell)

I've been contemplating since FOREVER whether I wanted to get this but seriously I gave in because this is the best price I've ever seen the real deal going for. And so obviously I gave in and got it. But it looks super cute! I always wear shorts wherever possible under my skirts because it feels awkward sometimes if it's a little short (I've longer limbs so it looks shorter). But I think this skirt looks super cute so yup ;> and grid is super in! Featured this in my grid OOTD so do check that out too ;)

3. Fred Perry sneakers
So I'm sure you guys know I got a pair of Fred Perry sneakers from Europe. And I'm super obsessed with them? I think they're super duper fun and it doesn't look like "school shoes" kind of style so they're definitely different. Yea I don't know why but I just really like it ^~^
So my pair kind of looks like this ^
I love the slight gold detailing. Not a fan of faux leather, but I do think the materials is of better quality than average faux leather so ~

4. Nike Mesh Track and Field Top, Size S, $35 (Carousell)

And this is a super cute top I found online. It's so cool! But unfortunately it doesn't quite fit me as I like it because of the way it's built. I fell in love with this the moment I first saw it. However it just doesn't look good on my body type (or at least I don't like it so) I sold it to one of my friends :') still! I did like this super a lot when I had it though so I'm putting this in my favourites for sure ~

And that's all for fashion 🎉

Food
Speaking of food, I really don't have much favourites because I'm not really too obsessed with anything new :))

1. Ramen
Yea I'm still obsessed with ramen. But I can't stahp :D it's too good! This one is what I had at Bugis Junction food court. Do try it out it's actually pretty delicious ;) all ramen is good ermahgerd.

2. Fish and Co
Fish and Co has super super good pasta for $10 nett ( for students ) ---> sorry if you're not a student maybe try a different promotion. But if you're a student please try this place out because I think it's pretty affordable for the portion size + you get a drink. And wifi. Wifi is always a bonus. Go out and get it now ;)

3. Indian food (and Malay food I guess)
Okay I went to Muthu's Curry at Dempsey Hill. It's my favourite Indian restaurant, they've got super good dishes. Will post more pictures of what I've been eating there if possible in a separate post but yup their curries are absolutely exquisite. Although I would admit it's not that affordable if you're a single diner so definitely try this out with your family / a group of friends. Again, plus points for free pappadam and wifi ;)

And this other picture is of a thosai I ate at some random Prata shop but it was damn good okay! And that's a good reflection of how much I've been loving Indian cuisine lately...

Also I've been loving mee goreng idk why... Okay there's not much to explain I think mee goreng is basically what it is :D

4. Sushi Tei
So last month there was a special squid ink pasta and hot damn it was delicious. I rarely see squid ink pasta in SG for a good price (good enough for me to try at least) and thus I do feel this is a good place ( perhaps unorthodox ) to try it out :)
Also this is a super good sushi! It's basically a sushi roll with Mentaiko. Yup that sums it up because I'm obsessed with Mentaiko ;D

That's it for July Favourites! Hope you enjoy :D and I'll see you soon ~

Love,
Khione
