Day out at Star Vista! Dining at Hot Tomato, Japanese and Korean supermarkets?

Hey guys! So I went to Star Vista yesterday for lunch ;) here's a short food post! As well as an outfit of course :)

and to start us off, here's my outfit!
Choker: Lovisa
Top: American Apparel Jungle Leaves Crop
Shorts: White Crochet Highwaisted Shorts from H&M
Jacket: Uniqlo
Shoes: Windsorsmith Lily
Bag: Furla Sarah Bag

Okay so to start us off, the reason I went to Star Vista was to visit the Korean (called SOL) and Japanese (called Jmart) supermarkets they have there! (Go and check it out it's really great)

As a tip, I do recommend you try some of their stuffs, but most of it can be more expensive than your average NTUC if it's the exact same item. However, if it isn't, then of course I recommend you buy it from there :)

I bought this Papico from the Japanese supermarket, and some of the spicy ramen from the Korean supermarket which I plan to test and see if it's better than the average NTUC ones (will have a post on that) I'll also post a pic of the Papico and do a short review to let you guys know whether I like these ;)

We also had lunch at Hot Tomato, which we heard was a pretty good Western restaurant. Let me show you what we ordered!

We got this soup and drink from adding $2.50 to a lunch set which normally costs $8.50. Note we ordered two lunch sets, but only one had the soup and drink add on :) the drink was Iced Lemon Tea and the soup was Mushroom soup. Nothing really special though, you can get the same taste pretty much everywhere.
Here's the chicken and sausage pasta I ordered! It comes with exactly four pieces of chicken and four pieces of sausage. Whilst the sausage was really good (tastes like bratwurst which I'm pretty sure is what it was), the chicken was really overcooked and it didn't taste good at all, so that was kinda disappointing. Pasta and sauce was pretty good, but again pretty average.
This is the Sirloin steak with pasta that my family ordered :) it tastes pretty good!
And this is the Hot Tomato Combo which we ordered A-la-carte. Everything in this one actually tastes really good, fried golden and crispy and really nice and crunchy. I do recommend you try this ;)

And that's it! Star Vista is a place I do enjoy visiting, and I'm super super excited to try out the Mexican restaurant that's opening on 31 October, so look out for a foodporn on that!

Thanks for reading ;) and I hope you liked it!

Love,
Khione
