Foodporn : Sweet Monster ~
Hey guys!
Here to share with everyone my Sweet Monster experience today. I'm sorry about the MIA, I've been having my orientation and school has been quite exhausting. But rest assured, I'll put up a post every single week!
So when I was in Hong Kong I did take a photo of this store and I didn't get to try it. It was really awesome when I found out through a friend of mine that it was open in Singapore! I went to the Plaza Singapura outlet. It was a Thursday afternoon, so there wasn't any queue.
Sweet monster does sell merchandise besides their cakes, Popcorns and ice creams. It is a Korean brand that expanded and opened up here as well. I do believe they have other locations!

Here are their popcorn flavours
So we actually purchased the Real Deep Milk as there was a student discount!
We were given samples of the popcorn by the staff. Personally, the chocolate, caramel and strawberry Popcorns were the best :)
We chose strawberry and caramel popcorn for our ice cream ~ (it was shared between 2). I do have a very strong gag reflex so eating too much ice cream isn't too good for me. Plus, we just had lunch and so we wanted to have just a little sugar.
The popcorn given is just perfect both aesthetically and also portion wise. Every bite had a popcorn for sure ;)
The best part about this was that the ice cream without the popcorn still tastes super bomb. It's really creamy and sweet but also tastes more like a yoghurt ice cream rather than that normal ice cream. So more of a soft serve I guess? I definitely wouldn't mind having it without the popcorn!

So yea! That sums up my experience. The prices can be steep but I do think it's not half bad for an occasional treat.
I'll have an OOTD and a lunch foodporn about this same day very soon so remember to keep checking in!
Thanks for reading ~
Love,
Khione
