Foodporn: Day out studying , Milk and Honey , Factorie

Hey guys! So here's a full day of food porn ;)

It's literally a follow me around :0

My end of year exams just started today :) but I'm trying to post a little something so people know I'm alive (okay I've no humour and I tried)

But at least you'll see wonderful food pictures ;)

Breakfast: JEM food court
JEM Food Court has this really famous fishball noodle stall that has some seriously good food. I've had their food once before and I really liked it so I decided to go for it again! I really like the combo of black sauce and chilli so that's normally what I go for :) the noodles are nice and springy, definitely not the overcooked and soft kind, and the fishball tastes really really good (basically it doesn't taste like a very artificial fishball)

Lunch: JEM Food Court
Korean ramen, I think it's pretty basic so I'm not gonna say much on it :P

And here's the best part of the day (I swear) Milk and Honey!
So my friend had heard about this place through some posts from Instagram (probably someone else's post) and really wanted to try this out. I've never really been that into trendy yoghurts etc. (Didn't even try Llao Llao and now I hear that it doesn't taste good anymore :/ )

Nonetheless I was kinda happy to try this place out because a) there's someone to share it with me which is great I'm never able to finish on my own and b) the queue wasn't very long. Andddd let me show you around ;)
So here are some of the toppings available:
More toppings
Close ups of toppings (yes they have macaroons what a winner macaroons are really really nice)
Even more toppings
Anddddd I've reached the front of the queue. So yea you basically order here and then take a queue number and wait (kind of like the KOI / Gong Cha system)
Also here's a shot of the menu! So as you can see, (actually I'm not sure if you can bc quality) it's actually a lot more worth it if you get the signature yoghurt parfait a than if you design your own because there's a price difference there (same price more toppings when it's the signature).
We got the honey velvet!
Here's what it looks like
More shots because why not ;)

Okay so for the details of the ingredients:
- yoghurt (duh)
- (red) velvet macaroon
- honey sauce
- chocolate decoration
- honey cornflakes
- (red) velvet cake
And here we are tucking into it! FYI you can only have a maximum of two spoons per cup :)
And also another thing the yoghurt is kinda hollow (it shocked the life out of me because I thought the inside had collapsed)
Digging in!
So yup! That's what we ate at Milk and Honey. I really really really like it so much ;-; definitely need to find a friend to share it with after my exams. The honey is drizzled around the cup while still empty so every bite (even the bottom) will have the honey taste. Furthermore, the cake, cereal, macaroon and chocolate act as additional textures and flavours to complement the yoghurt. I also admire how skilled the staff are making every yoghurt come out so beautiful :) it's got a ton of effort (which is always commendable)

I'm not sure if Milk and Honey is available anywhere else, and also you might want to note its different from the popular one you see at Bugis! (Which I saw and nearly mistook for it)

Andddd here's a horrible bad quality snapshot of my OOTD for that day for those who are curious because there are always people asking me :) (I gotcha)
I wore my Factorie hooded cardigan, my Brandy Melville Sachi Halter in the Ohm Elephants print I believe, and then my Zara shorts and Onitsuka sneakers (from Europe)

So yup that's all! It was a really productive day for me so I was super pleased with that :)

Also! I'm reaching 20,000 views really really soon so I'm going to try and bring in more collaborations, perhaps a giveaway soon :) thanks a lot for reading and till next times

Love,
Khione
