Foodporn : SYNC Korean fusion bistro

Hey guys! So just recently I went to the SYNC Korean bistro for lunch as I heard of their lunch sets. I've walked past this place many times and have never been able to try it out.

I ordered their lunch set which is around $10. You get your main course, a side of your choice, and of course free water and wifi is provided (which is great).

So I ordered their Kimchi fried which comes with nacho cheese, shredded kimchi and of course, fries.
I do have to say that it's actually a pretty workable combination, although I did think that the kimchi didn't taste super good.
Next up comes the food. I chose the Kimchi Ramen.
It is your average Korean ramen noodle being used, but what I do like is that the broth is pretty thick and so that's very different from what you normally see which is a spicy clear soup.
The noodles itself come with kimchi, tofu, ham, egg, seaweed and the soup of course. I think that the ingredients are pretty well put together.
Overall I'd say this is a pretty decent size and portion at the price, and I'm definitely pretty willing to come back and try some other foods again.
More food shots ~
I also really wanted to give it props for that super classy cafe feel that they provide along with your dining experience. I think there's plenty of room to chill out on a sofa once you're done eating and hang around for a while if you'd like a lazy afternoon that's full of solace.
That being said, I do feel that the a-la-carte prices can be pretty steep (more expensive than the authentic Korean stores such as Woorinara), thus ideally even though I'd love to visit this place more, I'll probably only do so when the lunch promotion is available. :)

Thanks for reading!

I hope you enjoyed this post :-) I'll see if I can do a post tomorrow / Monday (will have to check my schedule, am having a super busy school term)

Updates in life to come soon too! Stay tuned, and have a good month ahead :-)

Love,
Khione
