Australia trip : Day 9- flying off, Brisbane botanical gardens, and more on Brisbane

Day 9! We flew off in the morning to Brisbane. And if I've yet to mention, the clouds in Australia are absolutely gorgeous.

The moment we arrived in Brisbane Airport, we got our rental car and started ~

We had free time before we could check in to our hotel, so we went ahead and drove to the Brisbane Botanical Gardens. Because it was a public holiday that day, there were quite a bit of people. This place is free to enter.

The botanical gardens is also home to quite a bit of art pieces, which are great for photographers interested in the nature art related pictures

^ rose garden

There are countless beautiful sights to see in summer here, especially the flowers!

We also got to see this dome that maintains a tropical climate within ( pretty much what sg is like ), high humidity, warm and hence has a lot of beautiful plants ;)

We also saw this pretty interesting artwork in the fern garden! Definitely great for taking pictures.

More on the fern garden~

We visited the Japanese garden next :) it's really pretty! There were quite a bit of people sitting in the shelter as it was relatively sunny.

Also went to see this interesting setup with tons and tons of interesting bonsai. This is truly a work of art :)

We also saw some really interesting leaves on different trees :)

Fake bats!

If you take a drive upwards, there is a really cool look out point! I took a panorama :) as you can see, the view is simply beautiful <3

It was finally time and we drove to our apartment. Didn't take any pictures of that (phone died). Btw, we had McDonald's for lunch and TRUST me it actually tastes a lot fresher than Singapore's

We then explored the Main Street.
Here's some interesting Bronze artwork you can see in the city!

Town hall :) it's a museum now and quite interesting

Thank god, the supermarkets were actually open on public holidays. We went to Woolworth's to get some pasta sauce, ravioli, salads, eggs, salmon and lamb steak. The foods here are all non-GMO and hence really good!

That's it for day 9 ^^

Stay tuned for more!
Love,
Khione
