Online Shopping, sprees and more : OOTD 23.02.2014

First of all, HAPPY SUNDAY~

Today I'm going to talk about Online Sprees. I really really hate online sprees that have soooo much handling fees, and I was glad to have found Love Lacette. The owner is Cynthia and she herself owns a super gorgeous blogspot which I will link down below later. The website offers so many sprees to a variety of online sites such as Nastygal, Topshop, Saboskirt, Forever 21 as well as Cotton On and so many other websites. I have ordered all my Brandy Melville items besides the "I love you to the moon and back" tank and the items came in perfect condition, she also mails them out very timely and I was super excited to have ordered from her, I definitely recommend her to everyone looking for a great person to order from for online sprees. Online sprees not only mean little to no shipping fees and very minimal handling fees, it's great for people like me with no credit card or bank account and thus cannot order anything online, or for those who see all the Youtubers from like US and Canada buying things from stores we don't have here, sprees are a great solution.

A lot of my friends have also asked me about shopping online. I absolutely agree that shopping online nowadays can be a total challenge, including the number of scammers out there. Buying online is at one's own risk really, you can't say everyone's a scammer, you also can't say no one is a scammer. I have almost ben scammed a lot of times, and so far have been quite lucky avoiding the situation. The precautions I take are that I usually arrange for meetups instead of postage. Think about it, check the item before you pay for it. Pictures don't always give a correct illustration or a clear description of defects on clothing and so on, so as much as possible I go for meetups instead of postage. Sometimes sellers miss out on defects and it gets really annoying. So yea, meetups is the best~ Of course, don't forget for your own safety to arrange the meetup at an MRT location!

If you're like some of my friends who simply can't do meetups and can only do postage, try to opt for registered postage with a proof of the parcel and its tracking number pasted on. NOT A RECEIPT WITH MAILING LABEL AS ITEM BOUGHT. Anyone can buy a mailing label, but not everyone will mail it after buying. If they can save their item and still earn your money, why not right? If registered is too expensive for you, and you opt for normal mail, make sure there is proper video documentation that your parcel was mailed. A video that of a package with your address on it, put into the letterbox and the seller's hand is out without holding anything. This is a proper video proof. Of course with that there will still be so many other scammers and these precautions aren't enough but should keep you safe from most situations.

Last thing, it's about what are the websites I commonly shop online with excluding sprees, and I usually turn to selling platforms such as Carousell, Facebook, Instagram, Agnes and Maurice and Livejournals such as AshinCans, TheoryofSeven and so on. If you'd like to try on the items first, you can consider going to livejournal stores such as the various stores like styledasher (Scape) or MIYOC (JCube) and blogshopping (JEM).

if you need any more information please comment below and I will try to answer as much as possible. :) Cheers!

    1. hello val390 :) im normally a size 37.5-38 kind of fit. different jeffrey campbell shoes have different fit :) I advise you check the sizing charts online, websites such as Nastygal.com also give advise about whether you should get the shoes a size/half a size etc smaller/bigger or does it fit exact to shoe charts, they also have insole measurements which could help you ;) this is a size 8 litas, so it fits me quite well. i wouldn't say theyre hard to walk in at all, at first may kinda feel like youre walking on air (literally) but its also because i dont normally wear heels :) i do love them lots, the platform is high and thus easier to walk in :) hope i gave the right advice! also remember to tie the laces slightly tighter :) it helps with walking!
