Japan Haul - Food, fashion and more!

Hey guys! So I'm finally bringing my Japan haul out. I took these pictures at a pretty bad time of day for lighting so I'm really sorry if it's not as bright / high quality as would've been preferred, but I did have to rush through these as not all of them are mine and they would be required for other people almost immediately (eg. Chocolates)

Let's jump right in :)

100-yen shop
So to start off, I'll show you guys the stuff I got at the 100-yen shop. The closest thing to that is Daiso in Singapore btw! :) Everything would basically be $1.40 SGD or so.
I did get a 2016 planner which was pretty decent a size since I needed it for school this year. Next to it are some fancy labels, post-it's and highlighters which I don't really see in Singapore?
Next are some themed character goods I got. They're normally Sanrio / other Japanese animations for children. I've always used contact lens cases from the 100-yen shops in Japan, they have such cute designs and they last super long too. I got 2 of them. I also got a card holder (the kind with transparent pockets inside) which is the small rectangular thing. The larger one is technically for bank stuff in Japan but I just got it to keep some of my other things in. Lastly, I got a bag for my bottle which is insulated on the inside if I'm not wrong? They work  really nice and also prevent your metal bottles from scratching / denting / losing colour when you drop it on the floor. I'm such a klutz and that happens pretty often so I always use these things.
Next up are some hair ties! I got the black ones which came in a pack of 4 for school, and the other ones just to use at home :)

Jump Shop

There are 7 Jump shops in Japan, and we happened to go to the one in Fukuoka Canal City. I'm a pretty huge lover of anime so I did get some exclusives.

First up are some files, which are pretty practical for school. They were around $3-4 SGD each. For some reason my pictures uploaded super weirdly so my jump purchases are quite messy and all over the place :( I'll write down where everything comes from and I'm sorry about it! Can't change on my phone as I don't have the pictures with me to reupload and I can't change the order.

Here are pictures of the designs! (They're sometimes different front and back)

That's a portion of my Jump haul, read on for more since the order was messed up :(

Supermarket
I went to the supermarket and got two of these Kracie kits, as well as some Playcolor markers which I like to use for notes and stuff :-)

Jump shop

Jump shop again, I got this Portgas D Ace figurine
And here's a pic of all the items together
Here's what's inside the figurine box! It's super easy to fix up.
Random one piece file picture
Portgas d ace is my face One Piece character btw!
Another random file design

Mandarake
It's a second hand shop for all Japanese comics / collectibles etc. I first heard of this store through some youtubers and their Japan hauls. Prices can be super cheap and then go way up.
Here's what the Ace looks like fixed up btw! Not sure what's up with the order.
Also it comes with a random piece of gum (the figurine)
Continuing with the Mandarake haul, we got this one piece cup and a Pokemon glass cup. I'm currently using the glass cup for holding stationary. These were around 100-200 yen each which is insanely affordable. The lettering also tells you these were prizes from lucky draws at convenience stores in Japan where you actually buy a ticket for an average of 600 yen and then see what you get.

Jump shop (not mine)
These are some bleach sword key chains that have amazing detail and are seriously cool! We bought these as gifts for friends. They were around 500 yen each, pretty pricey for presents I'd admit.

And thank god, I think order has been restored to my photos.

Gal fit
So I'm actually not too sure but I know I stepped into this random mall whilst in Hiroshima I believe to check out Wego and they had this super cute clothing store there. Honestly speaking, the clothes were pretty inexpensive compared to the other fashion stores in there (around 2000¥ a piece) which is around 20+ SGD. The average store does around 3000-5000¥ a piece which is insane so I'd say this is kind of low budget?

Anyways, I saw them clearing out this jacket + top set for around 1000¥ which is insanely cheap for 2 pieces of clothing.
The top isn't really my thing but I think as a basic tee just to layer under something else I wouldn't mind at all. It is slightly translucent so you would have to be careful with choice of inner wear.

And the original price was 2980¥ FYI
So here's what the whole set looks like:
The outerwear was what really got me. It has a hood, although unfortunately no pockets.
I really love the texture and the feel of this fabric. It's kind of like a net instead of a knit which is normally seen with these types of cardigans, and that means this cardigan is not as delicate (hence needy/fragile) as my grey Factorie knit cardigan. Not only that, it also won't stretch out with time unlike knit.

Beauty and food

I did pick up some beauty items as well, and I thought it'd be nice to show you guys :-)
Japanese drugstore + 7-11

Firstly we have these Kose hand creams which were recommended by a beauty blogger.
The 3-pack does not come at a cheaper price FYI, but we got it anyway. This item is actually my mother's so I don't really have a review for it

The makeup items from the drugstore will be combined with whatever I got from Don Quixote which is this huge department store in Hiroshima I believe? (FYI I took pictures of the huge bags first so that's why the actual items are at the back)
As you can see we got a LOT of things

Let's jump right in!

Don Quixote

Firstly, I got these two items from the Don Quixote cosmetics section.
On the left is a little twin stars beauty / translucent powder which you use to set cream foundations. I use BB/CC creams when I do makeup so it's actually nice to have a powder and prevent all that oily sheen when you go out in makeup and it gets hot. On the right is a sailor moon eyeliner. I've heard great reviews about this collection and had always wanted something from it. This was the only thing I could find so I got it :-) powder was around 1000¥, eyeliner around 1600¥

Next up, I got some Gudetama lunch boxes. They come in a pack of two for around 500¥
Really like Gudetama a lot so I wanted something with it from Japan.
I love bringing snacks / fruits to school to eat and these boxes don't have the rubber lining which means that the rubber won't get mouldy or gross. It normally happens that I mess up the rubber on my box because I'm unable to wash the box immediately, so hopefully this box is a life saver.

I got this Alice in Wonderland contact lens case for around 700¥. It comes with box, tweezers and the contact case. There's actually a mirror inside so it's a very easy to use on-the-go kind of contacts case. Also, a toothbrush travel kit.

Next up is food!

I got these strawberry mochi Pocky midis which are winter exclusives. I had a box while there and they tasted super bomb so I had to buy them back.
Also there is a chocolate one there but it's my brothers :-)

Next up are these heart shaped Pocky sticks!
They're also a limited edition. I'll be doing a taste test on these soon :-)

Of course you can't go to Japan and not have specialty kit kats.
We got them in Green Tea, Creme Brûlée and this weird Sakura yam flavour?

Another item for the taste test are these mini cup noodles which id love to show in a foodporn post of some type and talk about them. They're kinda like mini samplers of actual Japanese cup noodles which I thought was just genius.
And I got this Bolognese flavour ramen which I've never seen before so I'll be reviewing that as well ;)
We got some Tiramisu chocolates :-)
Ghana Black Chocolate bars, which we've heard crazy good reviews about.
This peanut candy for my parents
Chocolate banana mochi snacks for my brothers.
More chocolate mochi sweets
These chocolate mushrooms which a youtuber had recommended.
Strawberry Oreo?
These are thin Japanese wafers I believe. My family loves the Japanese wafers as they're sweet and thin and crispy :)
Here are some chocolate biscuits we bought from Parco

And also these Maple Momiji cakes
More chocolates

Chocolate biscuits as well as sponge cake

These are an assortment of biscuits that my grandmother is fond of
And here are some White Lover biscuits!
Tokyo banana as well as Royce chocolates :-) these were picked up at the Duty Free
We did see that some of their cosmetics are actually more expensive and contain less product than actual stores, I think the food is same price for some but more expensive for others as well. Would advise to buy outside the airport

And here are a pair of Burberry socks I got from Parco for around $10 SGD which is pretty fab
Royce White chocolate chips!
Pictures of the cosmetics out of packaging :)

I also got some stationary

And a screen protector

That's all!
It's a super huge haul but I hope you guys liked it :-) have a great March and I'll be back soon!

Love,
Khione
